Susan Turcovski is the Deputy Director for ORA’s Office of Biological Products Operations (OBPO). OBPO consists of a specialized workforce that conducts inspections, investigations, and compliance activities for a wide range of biological products such as, blood and blood components, source plasma, tissues, vaccines, allergenics, gene therapies, cellular therapies and plasma-derived and recombinant therapeutic proteins. These products are regulated by FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER). Susan previously served as the Director of ORA’s Florida District Office and as a Director Investigations Branch in ORA’s Dallas District Office. She is a microbiologist with over 24 years of regulatory experience at FDA. Susan is currently stationed in Maitland, FL.
