CDR Binh Nguyen is the Educator for the Office of Training and Education within Office of Regulatory Affairs at the FDA specializing in pharmaceutical training. He is also a per diem clinical and IV Pharmacist at Fountain Valley Hospital, a 400-bed acute care hospital with pharmacy residency and internship programs for almost 20 years. He has 18+ years of pharmaceutical inspection experience (Level III Certified Pharmaceutical Inspectorate, Level II Drug Auditor, drug branch chief, director regulatory review officer) in biotech, sterile injectable, sterile compounding, positron emission tomography, and other dosage forms. He currently serves as a council member on the Board of Pharmacy Specialty in the area of Sterile Compounding Pharmacy and is a board certified pharmacist in sterile compounding pharmacy. He is also on the compounding pharmacy conference planning committee of FDA Center for Compounding Excellence and a subject matter expert in writing and reviewing sterile compounding training materials.
