The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) puts a lot of reasonability on companies and how to handle people’s data. The goal of this presentation would be:
Providing a clear explanation of the key concepts of the EU regulation such as objectives, scope, definitions, roles, principles, rights, and procedures.
Guide the attendees on how to apply the GDPR in the life science sector and what to consider for the implementation and maintenance of compliance.
Ms. Moncada is a privacy Professional skilled in Data Privacy, Personal Data Protection, Intercultural Relations, and Clinical Research. She has global experience working with companies based in Europe, North America, and Asia. Currently she works at MyData-Trust, Mons, Wallonia, Belgium, where she is a Project Manager and Data Protection Manager (DPO) for the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in companies of Life Science Sector. She also helps in the performance of Data Protection Trainings, Risk Assessments, Gap analysis assessments, Developing tools, analysis, audits, Review of data protection documentation (policies, procedures, ICFs, contracts), and Vendor assessments.
Ms. Moncada has an engineering degree in Biotechnology, from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and certification in DPO from Maastricht University and BSI Training Academy.
