CA’s CCPA & EU’s GDPR – Part 2
The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) creates new consumer rights relating to the access to, deletion of, and sharing of personal information that is collected by businesses. On February 7th, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra issued revisions to proposed regulations. In Part 2 of our discussion, we will analyze whether this latest set of revisions is an example of effective pushback from industry or creates even more uncertainty and confusion. We will also dive deeper into the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and related privacy/cybersecurity rules.
