Over the past year, the Orange County Regulatory Affairs Discussion Group (OCRA) Board of Directors have been hard at work developing new media platforms, industry partnerships, and presenting numerous contemporary educational and career networking opportunities.
We expanded our outreach to include all associated professionals working together in Regulatory, Clinical, Quality, Product Development, Compliance, Marketing and Post-Marketing positions and activities.
We used our “Stay at Home” time to launch a brand-new Website, increase our Social Media presence and develop a rolling 12-month Program Calendar. We successfully moved our programs and events online for continued benefit to all members!

If you are interested in joining the OCRA 2021 Board, you must be a qualified OCRA member in good standing, and submit the following information to Allison Oliva, OCRA Secretary at: Secretary@ocra-online.org no later than October 15, 2020.

OCRA Board of Directors Position Summaries
President-Elect will serve as the President of OCRA after this one-year position. The elected person will then serve as Past President the following year. The role of President-Elect is to assist the President in performing the duties of the President in their absence.
This is a one-year position: The Treasurer is responsible for the financial aspects of OCRA.
This is a one-year position. The Secretary takes and keeps the minutes of all meetings, proceedings and records the actions of Board at Board of Director meetings.
The following one-year positions allow you to participate in and influence the decisions of the OCRA Board.
Education and Professional Development Committee Chairperson:
Primary responsibilities include identifying educational and professional development opportunities for the OCRA membership. In addition, this committee is tasked with encouraging individuals new to the profession the opportunity to see Regulatory Affairs as a long-term career goal.
Membership Committee Chairperson:
Monitors the current membership list, conducts membership drives and reports membership data.
Professional Organization Liaison Committee Chairperson:
Monitors the activities of similar organizations to bring to the attention of the Board any opportunities for joint activities or relationships that may be advantageous to OCRA.
Program Committee Chairperson:
Arranges for educational programs and other programs conducted by OCRA. Manages an annual calendar of events in coordination with the Professional Organization Liaison. The Board must approve all such programs.
- Website-Social Media
Activities may include website monitoring, posting relevant information and announcements on OCRA social media sites and article development for the OCRA Newsletter
- Marketing and Promotions
Responsible for developing, implementing and executing Board approved marketing plans for the entire organization to attract potential new members and retain existing members.
