Job Description

Under direct supervision of Complaint Handling Supervisor:

•Approve incoming complaints, ensuring correctness and completeness
•Assign appropriate symptom code, adding short text description when necessary
•Assign applicable investigating unit and investigator(s)
•Determine whether complaint indicates a possible medical event may have occurred and select flag accordingly; notify investigator if complaint flagged as a possible medical event
•Process Complaints Process the complaints:
•Run reports to determine which complaints have evaluation ready and are ready to close; complete investigation on all closeable complaints listed and add task for closure
•Record all actions taken in the complaint investigation; include initials and date of each entry
•Enter product evaluation into complaint
•Enter any supportive information for cause; ask tech support, product development, and/or marketing for information on product when needed
